yaw-yaw, v.|ˈjɔːˈjɔː| [Cf. yaw int.] intr. a. To say ‘yaw! yaw!’; to talk affectedly. b. To utter inarticulate cries resembling the syllables ‘yaw, yaw’. Hence yawyawdom (nonce-wd.), an affected expression.
