The action of liberating or condition of being liberated; setting free; release.
Liberation Society: the designation of the ‘Society for the Liberation of Religion from State Patronage and Control’, the object of which is to advocate the disestablishment and disendowment of all established churches in the British dominions. Cf. liberationist.
