▪ I. libellatic, n. Eccl. Hist.|laɪbəˈlætɪk| [ad. L. libellāticus, f. libellus: see libel n. Cf. F. libellatiques n. pl.] A Christian who, under persecution, obtained from a magistrate a false certificate that he had sacrificed to the heathen gods.
