levallorphan, n. Pharm.|ˌliːvəˈlɔːfæn| [f. levo- + allyl n. + morphine n. + -an, elements of the systematic name.] A morphine analogue and opioid antagonist, C19H25NO , given intravenously (usu. as the tartrate) to counteract some of the depressant effects of certain narcotics.
