A twin monster united by a band extending downwards from the xiphoid cartilage, as in the case of the Siamese twins. Hence xiphopagic |zɪfəʊˈpædʒɪk|, xiphopagous |zɪˈfɒpəgəs| adjs., constituting a xiphopagus.
