leptazol Pharm.|ˈlɛptəzɒl| [f. analeptic a. and n. + azo- + -ol.] A white, crystalline, bicyclic compound, C6H10N4, which stimulates the respiratory and motor centres, is used as an analeptic, especially after poisoning by narcotics, and was formerly employed in convulsive psychotherapy.
