larnax Gr. Antiq.|ˈlɑːnæks| Pl. larnakes |ˈlɑːnəkiːz|. [Gr. λάρναξ chest, urn.] A chest, ossuary, urn, or coffin, usually of terra cotta, frequently ornamented with designs.
