ˈwolf's-milk [Cf. LG. wulfsmelk, MHG. wolfmilch, (G. wolfs-), Da. ulvemelk, etc.] 1. a. A spurge, esp. the sun-spurge, Euphorbia Helioscopia; so called from the acrid milky juice.
