An Indo-Aryan language spoken in the western Punjab. Also attrib. or as adj.

I therefore think it best to give it the name which is indicated by the natives of the Punjab themselves, i.e. Lahndā or the Language of the West (Panjabi Lahndē-di Bōlī). 1907G. A.
