lagerphone, n. Austral.|ˈlɑːgəfəʊn| [f. *lager n. (from the beer-bottle tops used) + -phone.] A percussion instrument consisting of a long pole with a cross-piece near the top, to which numerous beer-bottle tops are loosely nailed, producing a jingling noise when shaken or struck.
