lady's slipper Also 6 Our Ladies slipper, 8–9 ladies', lady slipper. 1. A common book-name for the orchidaceous plant Cypripedium Calceolus. Also applied occas. to the cultivated calceolaria, and the Bird's-foot Trefoil, Lotus corniculatus.
