▪ I. lacunar, n. Arch.|ləˈkjuːnə(r)| Pl. lacunars, lacunaria |lækjuːˈnɛərɪə|. [a. L. lacūnar, f. lacūna: see lacuna.] a. The ceiling or under surface of any part, when it consists of sunk or hollowed compartments. b. pl. The sunken panels in such a ceiling.
