lactarious, a. rare—0.|lækˈtɛərɪəs| [f. L. lactārius lactary + -ous.] = lactary a.; ‘applied to some of the agarics which yield a milky juice’ (Mayne Expos. Lex. 1855). Hence lacˈtariously adv. (jocular nonce-wd.) on milk diet.
