ancyroid, a. Phys.|ænˈsaɪrɔɪd| [ad. med.L. ancyroīd-es, a. Gr. ἀγκῡροειδής anchor-shaped: see anchor and -oid. Sometimes made ankuroid.] Anchor-shaped; applied to a process of the shoulder-bone, also called the coracoid, and to the middle cornu of the lateral ventricle of the brain.
