Kolmer Med.|ˈkɒlmə(r)| The name of John Kolmer (1886–1962), U.S. pathologist, used attrib. and absol. to denote a modification proposed by him of the Wassermann complement fixation test for syphilis using beef heart cardiolipin as the antigen. Also Kolmer–Wassermann.
