A hydrous chloride and sulphate of mercury and ammonia, occurring as transparent or translucent crystals of a yellow to orange colour.

XII. 433 Comparison of the data for kleinite..with those of mosesite..suggests that the former has a three-dimensional structure of [Hg2N]1+..with a formula [Hg2N](Cl,SO4)xH2O, where x is about 1/4. |
