Kikongo, n.|kɪˈkɒŋgəʊ| [Kikongo, f. ki- (cf. Kiswahili n.) + *Kongo n.] = *Kongo n. b, used as a lingua franca in Zaire, Congo, and adjacent areas (see also quot. 1988).
