khapra|ˈkɑːprə| [ad. Hindi khaprā destroyer, f. khapna to destroy.] In full, khapra beetle. A small, brownish-black beetle, Trogoderma granarium, of the family Dermestidæ, native to India but widely found elsewhere as a pest of stored grain.
