ˈweigh-box a. One of a set of boxes, used in the operation of ‘drawing’ wool, in which the wool is more accurately weighed. b. A weigh-house. c. A chute which weighs and delivers coal at a railway coaling-station (Cent. Dict. Suppl. 1909).
