anacardic, a.|ænəˈkɑːdɪk| [f. as prec. + -ic.] Of the Anacardium or Cashew-nut; as in anacardic acid, C44H64O7, extracted, together with cardol, by the action of ether on the pericarps of the cashew-nut. Its salts are anacardates.
