isoclinal, a. and n.|aɪsəʊˈklaɪnəl| [f. iso- + Gr. κλῑ́ν-ειν to bend, slope, slant: cf. ἰσοκλινή-ς equally balanced. In mod.F. isocline.] A. adj. 1. Phys. Geog. Indicating equal magnetic inclination: applied to lines connecting points on the earth's surface at which the magnetic inclination or dip is the same; relating to or containing such lines.
