‖ Isaria Bot.|aɪˈsɛərɪə| [f. Gr. ἴσ-ος equal + -aria = -ary1 B 3.] A genus of filamentous moulds, some species of which attack and destroy insects, especially Hymenoptera. It is now believed that many of the species are merely sporiferous forms of other fungi.
