amphigam Bot.|ˈæmfɪgæm| [a. Fr. amphigame, f. Gr. ἀµϕί on both sides + γάµος marriage.] A name given by De Candolle to the lowest order of plants, supposed to have no distinct sexual organs, also called Agamæ.
