amphichroic, a.|æmfɪˈkrəʊɪk| [f. Gr. ἀµϕί both + -χρο-ος coloured (f. χρό-α, χρο-ιά colour) + -ic. (In l. c. erroneously printed amphicroitic.)] Having a double action upon test colours in chemistry.
