† insame, in same, advb. phr. Obs. Also 4 in samen, samyn. [f. in prep. + samen adv. (cf. OE. ætsomne, tosomne); perh. originating in an erroneous notion of the i- of i-samen, which is found earlier.] Together, in company. (In late use often a mere expletive.)
