‖ volapié|volapiˈe| [Sp., lit. ‘flying foot’, f. volar to fly + pie foot.] In Bullfighting, a manner of killing in which the bullfighter runs in to kill a stationary or slowly-moving bull. Also à volapié adv. phr., in this manner.
