regifuge Rom. Hist.|ˈrɛdʒɪfjuːdʒ| [ad. L. rēgifugium, f. rēgi-, rex king + fuga flight.] The flight or expulsion of the kings from Rome. L. rēgifugium occurs only as the name of the festival (on 24 Feb.) commemorative of the expulsion.
