viseite Min.|ˈviːzeɪaɪt| Also viséite. [a. F. viséite (J. Mélon (after G. Cesàro) 1942, in Ann. Soc. géol. Belgique LXVI. b53), f. as Viséan a.: see -ite1.] A hydrous basic calcium and aluminium silicophosphate occurring as translucent isometric crystals of a white, bluish, or yellowish colour.
