▪ I. infarct, n. Path.|ɪnˈfɑːkt| [ad. med. or mod.L. infarctus, f. ppl. stem of infarcīre: see next.] A portion of tissue that has become stuffed with extravasated blood, serum, or other matter; the substance of an infarction.
