Vinerian, a.|vaɪˈnɪərɪən| [f. the name of Charles Viner (1678–1756), English jurist.] Vinerian Professor, the holder of the chair of English Common Law endowed by Viner at the University of Oxford; so Vinerian Professorship. Also applied to other posts or studentships (and their holders) similarly endowed by Viner at Oxford, or to the fund administered for this purpose.
