ambrose|ˈæmbrəʊz| [a. Fr. ambroise:—L. ambrosia (see next.)] 1. Herb. An English plant: with some the Wood Sage (Teucrium Scorodonia); with others, Chenopodium Botrys; with both of which Teucrium Botrys seems to have been in name confused.
