1728Chambers Cycl., Veru-montanum, in Anatomy,..a kind of little Valve, in the Place where the Ejaculatory Ducts enter the Urethra... Its use is, to prevent the Urine, in passing the Urethra, from getting in at those Ducts. 1771Encycl. Brit.
