inclinatory, a. ? Obs.|ɪnˈklaɪnətərɪ| [f. L. inclīnāt- (ppl. stem of inclīnāre to incline) + -ory, as if ad. L. *inclīnātōrius.] Relating to or characterized by inclination or ‘dip’ (see inclination 3 d). inclinatory needle = dipping-needle.
