† inˈcensive, a. and n. Obs. rare. Also 7 insensive. [a. obs. F. incensif, -ive, ad. L. type *incensīv-us, f. incens-, ppl. stem of incendĕre: see incend and -ive.] A. adj. 1. Of inflamed disposition, full of rage or wrath.
