verkramp, pred. a. S. Afr.|fɛrˈkramp| Also verkrampte |-ˈkramptə| when used attrib. [a. Afrikaans, lit. ‘narrow, cramped’.] Narrow or reactionary in political, religious, social, etc., matters.
