imborsation rare.|ɪmbɔːˈseɪʃən| [ad. It. imborsazione, n. of action f. imborsare, f. im- (im-1) + borsa purse. Cf. imburse v.] An Italian mode of election to magistracies, in accordance with which the names of the candidates were put into a bag or purse to be drawn by lot.
