vapourware, n. Computing (orig. U.S.).|ˈveɪpəwɛə(r)| Also U.S. vaporware. [Humorously f. vapour n. + *ware n.3 2 b.] A piece of software or other product for use in computing which, despite being publicized or marketed, either does not exist or has not (yet) been developed commercially.
