Ijo, Sw. rendering of Finnish Ii, the name of a village and district on the Finnish coast near Oulu and also the initial element in the names of local geographic features, as Iijärvi, Iijoki, Iivaara: see -lite.]
A plutonic igneous rock consisting essentially of nepheline and pyroxene and containing no felspar.
