hæmagogue, hem-, a. and n.|ˈhiːm-, ˈhɛməgɒg| [f. Gr. αἷµ-α blood, hæmo- + ἀγωγός leading.] A. adj. Promoting a menstrual or hæmorrhoidal discharge of blood. B. n. A medicine which has this quality.
