Hyrcan, n. and a.|ˈhɜːkən| Also 6–7 Hircan, 6 Hyrcane. [ad. L. Hyrcānus, a. Gr. Ὑρκανός.] = next. Hyrcan tiger, after L. Hyrcanæ tigres (Virgil æn. iv. 367).
