hypoplastic, a. Med.|haɪpəʊˈplæstɪk| [f. hypo-(plasia (s.v. hypo- II) + -plastic.] Of an organ or tissue: undersized at maturity owing to insufficient growth; hypoplastic anæmia, anæmia that is due to an insufficient production of red blood cells by the bone-marrow.
