‖ uræmia Path.|jʊˈriːmɪə| Also uremia. [mod.L., f. Gr. οὖρ-ον urine + αἷµα blood. Cf. It. uremia, F. urémie.] A morbid condition resulting from the presence in the blood of urinary constituents, which are normally eliminated by the kidneys.
