‖ hyperdulia|haɪpəduːˈlaɪə| Also 5 -doulia, 7 (anglicized) hyperduly. [a. med.L. hyperdūlīa; see hyper- 4 and dulia. Cf. F. hyperdulie.] The superior dulia or veneration paid by Roman Catholics to the Virgin Mary. Hence hyperˈdulic, hyperˈdulical adjs., of the nature of hyperdulia.
