hyoglycocholic, a. Chem.|ˌhaɪəʊglɪkəʊˈkɒlɪk| [f. Gr. ὗς, ὑο- pig + γλυκύς sweet + χολή bile: see glycocholic.] In hyoglycocholic acid, an acid (C27H43NO5) which, in the form of a sodium salt, is the chief constituent in the bile of pigs. Hence hyoglyˈcocholate, a salt of this acid.
