[a. medical L. ūrētēr, a. Gr. οὐρητήρ, f. οὐρεῖν to make water. Cf. F. uretère (1541), It. and Pg. uretere, Sp. urétere.]
Either of the fibro-muscular tubes or vessels which convey the urine from the pelvis of the kidney to the bladder; a urinary duct.
