Calcium phosphate hydroxide, ideally [Ca3(PO4)2]3.Ca(OH)2, which occurs as a rare mineral of the apatite group (in which hydroxyl replaces all or most of the fluorine of the commoner fluorapatite), and which is the principal inorganic constituent of tooth enamel and bone.
