re-enactor, n. Brit. |ˌriːɪnˈaktə|, U.S. |ˌriəˈnæktər|, |ˌriəˈnækdər| [‹ re-enact v. + -or suffix, probably after enactor n. and actor n. Compare later re-enacter n.] A person who re-enacts something; (now) esp. a person who (as part of a group) re-enacts historical events (usually battles) in period costume, as a pastime.
