1. Of, relating to, or indicating the hours. horary angle = hour-angle. horary circle: see circle n. 2, 13 a; also, the circle of hours on a dial-plate.

Philos. iii. 193 Understood no more of Nature, than a rude Countrey-fellow does of the Internal Fabrick of a Watch, that onely sees the Index and Horary Circle. 1688Boyle Final Causes Nat. 4. Astrol. horary question, a question, the answer to which is obtained by erecting a figure of the heavens for the moment at which it is propounded. Hence, Relating to such questions, as horary astrology, horary prediction.
