homalogonatous, a. Ornith.|ˌhɒmələʊˈgɒnətəs| [f. mod.L. Homalogonatæ (see below), f. Gr. ὁµαλός even, level, ordinary + γόνυ, γονατ- knee: see -ous.] Belonging to Garrod's division Homalogonatæ of birds, comprising those which have a rectus femoris or ambiens muscle in the leg.
