‖ hoc genus omne phr.|hɒk ˈgɛnəs ˈɒmniː| [L. (Horace, Satires I. ii. 2).] Usu. in phr. et (occas. and) hoc genus omne: and the whole of that class or group; and all that kind of thing (often as ornamental substitute for et cetera).
